TEXAMUST™ 500 SR contains Tranexamic Acid 500 mg in a sustained-release tablet. Tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic medicine that reduces the breakdown of fibrin, helping stabilise blood clots that have already formed. It is used for managing excessive bleeding in selected situations, including heavy menstrual bleeding, while the formulation provides modified release of the active ingredient.
