DYDROTWIST™ 20 ER contains Dydrogesterone 20 mg in an extended-release tablet. Dydrogesterone is a synthetic progestogen with activity similar to naturally occurring progesterone, a hormone involved in menstrual cycle regulation, reproductive function and endometrial preparation. The extended-release formulation releases the active ingredient gradually over an extended period rather than all at once.
