MYO-TWIST™ MET combines Myo-Inositol 600 mg and Metformin HCl 500 mg in a sustained-release bilayered tablet. Myo-inositol participates in cellular signalling and metabolic pathways, while metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production. The combination may be used in selected women with PCOS, particularly where metabolic factors such as insulin resistance are relevant.
